Welcome Writers,
​Next round of classes will be in March!
Here’s some important info for you to begin.
The commitment is to write two pages per day, every day,
that's two hand written pages in a journal, or one typed,
double spaced, large font page if typing. I use size 18,
about 400-500 words.
The class registration cost is $40 for 4 weeks. If you are new to method writing we will need to have a short 10 minute
conversation and you'll need to purchase our book Method Writing with The Collective Underground from me which is your textbook.
The cost for the book is $25 
New writers will start with Write Like You Talk,
please read that ONE corresponding chapter in Method
Writing with The Collective Underground, and Write Like
You Talk might look something like this . . . "I don't know
why Ivy needs me to write like I talk? This is so stupid and
now I'm worried I'll be late for class and I still need to buy
the book and where the hell does she live anyway!?”
THAT'S what I'm looking for! Even if I don't know how you
talk. I want to hear what it sounds like when someone
talks and hopefully that someone is you. The only rules for
now are No using words ending in LY and not using the
word YOU. More on that in class.
Online Zoom classes let you be part of The Collective Underground from the comfort of your own home
Classes are on 
Wednesday’s from 2:30-4:30 HI time,
4:30-6:30 LA and
7:30-9:30 NY
Zoom sign on will be emailed to you the mornings of our
meetings. Just follow the link and instructions.
Classes in my living room in Haiku are on Tuesday’s from
3-5:00
